Consultation

Services begin with a complimentary 30-minute consultation. During this time, the speech language pathologist will observe your child, complete an informal screening, and conduct a parent interview in order to determine if a formal speech and language evaluation is warranted. This step can be skipped at the family's request.

Evaluation

A comprehensive speech and language evaluation is completed to highlight your child’s strengths and areas of need. The family and speech language pathologist will collaborate and create an individualized treatment plan and goals together. The initial evaluation will last approximately 60 minutes.

Treatment

The speech language pathologist will model, teach, and coach parents and caregivers in play-based and child-directed therapy strategies. Services are provided in the family's home, the child's daycare, or community outings. This treatment approach allows therapy to be embedded in the child’s natural environment on a daily basis.
